Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so if you’ve booked a B&B in Castleton for a special night away with your partner, here are some exciting things you can get up to during your trip.

Valentine’s Dinner Show

If you want a romantic, candlelit dinner with live music and plenty of fizz, head to the Pavillion Gardens in Buxton

On Saturday February 10th between 1830 and 2200, the Pavillion Tea Rooms Art Cafe will be transformed, and visitors will be able to listen to a Michael Buble tribute act, as well as enjoy a three-course meal.

Afternoon Tea at Hargreaves

If finger sandwiches and bite-sized cakes are more your thing, why not go to Hargreaves Cafe and Tea Room for a special Valentine’s afternoon tea?

You can tuck into homemade scones and delicious desserts, washing them down with some pink Prosecco.

The £22 per person offer is available between Monday February 12th and Saturday February 17th.

Valentine’s Tour

Book with Discover Buxton Tours for a special love-themed trip through the Derbyshire town.

You will be able to learn all about its history during the two-hour trip led by knowledgeable guides, all while enjoying chocolates and Prosecco.

Beginning at Buxton Opera House at 1100 on February 14th, the tour costs £25 per person.

Visit Heights of Abraham

Of course, you don’t need to book anything fancy to have a romantic holiday in the Peak District. Just being able to immerse yourself in the beautiful landscape and enjoy the peace and quiet with the person you love will be special enough.

One way to really embrace the majestic vista is by taking a cable car ride at the Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath.

At the peak of Masson Hill, you can tour its underground caverns, soak in the scenery overlooking the peaks, or visit some of the exhibitions to learn more about the local history.
