Welcome to Peveril house
Located in the centre of Castleton, Peveril house has been the centerpiece of the village since its construction in 1768.
Following a comprehensive restoration of the main house and coach house we are now pleased to open our doors for visitors to enjoy the atmosphere of this historic house and our service.
On site Car parking is provided at the property.
Castleton is a honeypot village set in the Peak District National Park famous for its blue john caverns and for the stunning surrounding countryside. it’s a outdoor haven for walkers, hikers and cyclists and for those that would like to enjoy this beautiful open countryside with spectacular scenery.
High above the village sits Peveril Castle, built in 1086 for William of Peverel (a favoured knight of William the conquerer) we are pleased to share the association.
